     February 12, 2012:
Traci & Grump contacted me last week and told me about the Hogs for Dogs run for this year.  The 11th Annual Hogs for Dogs will be run on June 16th.  I'm waiting for a flyer so I can put it up here.  I guess they are still working on the last stopping place.  They want it to be in Harrison County this year, if they can.  That would be nice.  So, let's hope for nice riding weather and a better turnout than ever before!

I can't yet believe it's February already.  Only a lil' over a month until my retirement.  Guys at work ask me what I'm going to do afterwards, so I tell them that if I want...I'll just hop on the bike at 8:30 in the morning and come out to see them during break time.  I think I will have enough to keep me busy for awhile.

Darlene Webb (Fee's sister) had a Birthday Bash at "The Rock" last Thursday night.  A nice crowd showed up and a good time was had by all that came.  I will post a couple pictures when I can get time to sit down and get them done.

     January 27, 2012:
How time flies.  The last time I updated this site, I was wishing everybody a Happy New Year.  Now we are heading into February already.  I know a lot of you guys had some nice riding time this month already.  Maybe we're getting a reprieve from the last couple of Winters this year.  Here's hoping we have a mild Feb. so more of you can get out and stretch those Winter legs.

FYI:  I have my Triumph completely rewired.  I really cleaned up the rat's nest I had and tried to hide as many of the wires as possible.  Now to add a couple of 4" baffles to my straight pipes and do some minor things (I hope), I'll be ready to get it started.  Hope, hope, hope...  I might even try to get a license this year - lol.

A little off subject:  I'm looking for some PC software called MX vs ATV UNLEASHED.  Again, this is the PC version...not XBox or anything else.  If you have a good copy you'd like to sell or donate, please e-mail me - holbs (at) yahoo.com.  I sure would appreciate it!

I will finally be retiring from the American Workforce on March 16th of this year.  I think I did my part and am ready to do the "easy way" for awhile.  Plus this will give me all kinds of time to ride or work on the bike.  I will be having a "Retirement Get-Together" at Buffalo Wild Wings on #279 this coming March 16th at around 3:30 pm.  Anyone and everyone is invited to attend if they'd want.  It sure would be nice to see some of you, plus it will give you a chance to get out of the house for awhile.  See ya' there?

     December 31, 2011:
Another year....jeez.  They are going by WAY too fast!  I know most of you like to party a bit (under statement of the year), so...just take it easy tonight and see if you can get someone to drive who's not drinking.  My Brother-In-Law is going to pick me up at The Rock around 12:30-1:00 am, so I won't have to worry about the cops.  I hope he realizes how much I appreciate what he's doing for me.

I'm going to re-wire the ol' Triumph again and I got lucky...NAPA on Old B'port hill had some 16 & 18 ga. wire basically the same color as the bike.  That will make it a bit easier to run the wires where I need them.  I'm going to try to make the wiring a bit "cleaner" this time.  I had a bunch of people asked if I was going to fix it, so I guess I am.

Don't forget about the new FOR SALE ITEMS and WANTED ITEMS areas I've added to the left here.  If you have any extra bike parts or are just looking for something bike related, just e-mail me and let me know.  Just be sure to include all the info you can.

NOTE: This has been added to the text for the 31st.  I have a New Year's present for you guys.  I have posted a little story on here.  It's one I found quite a few years ago on the Internet.  If you have a half-hour to spare, you might want to check it out.  I think you will really enjoy it!!  Here: BARNEY

     December 23, 2011:
Because of a request, I've added a WANTED ITEMS page here.  This is where you can let me know by e-mail (below) the items you want or need for your bike and I'll post them for at least 30 days.  I do ask that you keep everything bike related.  Also, check the page often.  You may have what someone else needs.

     December 21, 2011:
I sending out this Christmas message to all of you I will not be seeing during the Holidays.  Here's wishing you and your families the best Christmas ever.  I think we had a pretty nice "biker" year.  New bikes were bought, older ones were either rebuilt or just refurbished.  It seems as if everyone has done something to their ride.

I'm in the process of re-redoing mine (again).  I had to do some repainting and will be adding all new wiring, now that I basically know what I'm doing.  There's a couple other things I want to do before I get it out on the road again next Spring.

I'll make you guys this offer instead of giving all of you a present (ha-ha)....If anyone has something related to the Clarksburg bike scene you'd like to get some photos of, let me know by e-mail and I'll see what we can set up.  My e-mail is listed below.

     December 10, 2011:
The pic from Traci & Grump's run is up.  I thought for sure I took more than one tho'.  It's the last one under the MISC. PICS button.

     December 5, 2011:
The video of the TOYS FOR TOTS - 2011 is up and running.  Check it out under the VIDEO PAGE button.

Traci & Grump's had their own run last Saturday in Fairmont.  I just took a couple of pics...since I only knew a couple of riders from up there.  When you look like an FBI Trainee, you have to be a bit careful who you take pictures of when they don't have a clue who you are - LOL.  I'll get them up in a day or two.

     December 1, 2011:
Sorry I'm a bit late with the photos from the TOYS FOR TOTS run, but I've really been down with this cold and I've just been getting to know my couch and my bottle of Nyquil a lil' bit better this week.  The photos are online now (Thurs. night).  The strange looking vehicle at S.H. High School is called a STALLION.  It's made somewhere in Texas and is all FORD powered and driven.  You have to straddle the inside engine cover to drive and if you have short legs...forget it.  Neat bike(?) tho'.  It's the first I've heard or seen one.

The videos I took came out great, but it will be until this weekend when I can sit down for a couple of hours and put them all together and upload it to YouTube for all of you to see....so hang on.

Traci & Grump's run is this Saturday in Fairmont.  I'm going to try to make it to the after-party (of course - lol) at Santana's and take some shots.  I don't know how many I'll get because I sure don't know too many riders from that area.  Check out the flyer in the UPCOMING EVENTS area.

In case you guys didn't know it...The Twisted Spoke picked up a DYNO.  Now you can get your bikes setup to run top-notch.
Stop by their website - THE TWISTED SPOKE - for the latest news.  NOTE:  This is Jim's new link address.  Once there, make a new bookmark.  I did the site for Jim.  If you like it, let him know you stopped by.

I was just wondering...Have you ever checked out the "MISC. BIKE SITES" link on the left?  I've collected a BUNCH of links to bike sites all over the world. You could spend more than a couple of hours checking them out.  Surely you can find a site you'd like to visit.  There's too many to check to see if the links are still operating.  You will have to do that yourself.

If you are having trouble e-mailing me from this site, just type my address in or COPY/PASTE the address below into your own e-mail form.  I will eventually change this on every page.  (You might want to add "KEN'S PICS" as the Subject.).  Also, replace the  (at) with the "@" symbol.

ken (at) kenthepictureguy.com

The original   holbs (at) yahoo.com   still works....it's just that I'd like to keep the two separate.

Remember, if any of you would like a pic taken of you and your bike, just ask me and I'll be glad to oblige you.

Visitors to this site are permitted to "grab" any of the photos for PERSONAL, NON-PROFIT USE ONLY.  If you'd like a larger, digital copy of one or more picture(s) to print-out, just e-mail me at: ken@kenthepictureguy.com and tell me the photo's subject area, year, month and i.d. number and I'll get a high resolution and printer friendly graphic back to you at no charge.
